Set in a seedy Oklahoma City motel room, Tracy Letts' BUG centers on the meeting between Agnes (Jennifer Jane Parsons), a divorced waitress with a fondness for cocaine and isolation, and Peter (John Vicino), a soft-spoken Gulf War drifter. Together they try to escape the dangers of the outside world only to be forced to fight a hidden bug infestation that may be the result of government experiments. Photo by Cameron Fabrick.

At this buggy motel, people check in, but they may not check out. From the brilliant mind of Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning playwright, Tracy Letts, comes the gritty, darkly comic, psychological thriller, BUG, directed by Susannah Greenwood. Agnes (Jennifer Jane Parsons) stays at a hotel in hopes of avoiding her physically abusive ex-husband, Jerry, who was just released from prison. At first, she lets Peter (John Vicino) sleep platonically on her floor, but not long after she promotes him to the bed. Matters become more complicated as Jerry eagerly returns to the woman he loves to beat her up, expecting to resume their relationship. That, mixed with an unexplained attack by blood sucking bugs, causes their fears to escalate to paranoia, conspiracy theories and twisted psychological motives in BUG by Tracy Letts.
